Best Of....Foxtrot

This first collection of tracks are Social Foxtrot.   Also known as Rhythm Foxtrots, these are foxtrots with more of a swing feel than traditional slow foxtrots. These suit the more relaxed footwork of the Social foxtrot, but they can be quite hard to do Slow foxtrot to - see below

Title Artist
They Can't take that Away from me Pearl Bailey or Robbie Williams
Whistle for the Choir The Fratellis
My Baby Just Cares for me Nina Simone
Roxie Chicago Original Soundtrack
Fly me to the Moon Frank Sinatra or Jools Holland
All about You McFly
Why Don't you Do Right? Peggy Lee
Back to Black Amy Winehouse
Mack the Knife Frank Sinatra or Brian Setzer
Swinging on a Star
Bing Crosby
If I didn't have you Billy Crystal (from the Original Soundtrack of Monsters Inc)
I'm so Happy I can't stop Crying Sting

The next grouping is the Slow Foxtrot. Sometimes known as Smooth foxtrot these tracks have less of an obvious beat than the social foxtrot and they frequently have a slower tempo.  There is nothing stopping you do doing Social Foxtrot to these tracks, it is just harder to hear the beat and they take on a more romatic 'smootch' feeling!

Title Artist
King of the Road Dean Martin
Unforgettable Nat King Cole
Me and My Shodow Robbie Williams
Just one of those things Diana Krall

Sentimental Journey

Doris Day
A Blues Serenade Jivin' Miss Daisy
They Can't take that away from me Robbie Willams
Timeless to me Hairspray Original Soundtrack
(note: changes tempo for a section in the middle)
Pennies from Heaven United States Air Force - Airmen of Note
Night And Day De-Lovely Original Soundtrack
